We have door locks and garage door opener through Wink. We can lock the locks and close the garage door through Siri via HomeKit. (yea!)

We can not unlock nor open the garage door. Siri gives a message that the iPhone must be validated first. Well, the network is through an iPad (no iPhone at all on the network). Everything is updated, validated. Anyone w/thoughts on this topic? Is this a bug?
