@he7d3r The query API doesn't currently expose generic page information about link targets (only about the host page).

Example query: action=query&prop=templates|images|links|iwlinks|extlinks|categories.

But let's say I can get this information (maybe through a generator API), what use case do you have in mind?

Remember that these are outgoing links, not incoming links. So this new option would exclude from the results any link that points to a page that is currently a redirect. The redirect destination would still not be included.
