I am trying to use LANDrop on a Chromebook, and for some reason the Android version keeps crashing, while the Linux version refuse to work since "Your system don't have tray support". I am considering to develop an alternative window that can be used as the main menu when the tray menu is unavailable. However it seems that the project is in an abandoned state, with 3 pull requests still waiting to be processed (2 of them have been waiting for more than 1 year). I am worried that even if I made the change needed, my pull request will not be processed.
LANDrop is a great piece software, and I really want it to stay being maintained and developed. It would be great if you (or anyone in charge of the development of LANDrop) can let the community know the current status of this project, whether it is abandoned, considered feature complete so no more active development will be made, or the developers are just too busy and need some volunteer help. Whatever the case, we as a community will continue to support LANDrop.
Thanks a lot!

@jerrylususu - after looking into it, it seams like the project is abandoned..
in my opinion however it is still one of the best (and easiest) aplications out there.
if there where to be a personal who was willing, and able to take up the work and host a gofundme for a compensation i could see myself vouching for a few feature milestones.
1 being, a system installer for all major OS'es ios, android, chromeOS MacOS windows and linux (no more zip file) .
2 : <share to landrop features for all these.
3 UI translations to many more languages (for example user submitted).
4 automatic receiving of files when devices are paired (for example via ToTP)
as this project BSD-licenced forking it won't be an issue.
