Check if the script is running in travis CI or not.
This stack overflow answer explains how this can be done
If it is in travis, set location of the MINICONDA script to $HOME, else read a file off a hidden file to set the tarball location.
Create a conda environment rather than install directly.

Need to think about whether this is really necessary and parts of it are done. But I should have a conclusion for the draft.
