Default tag of launchmenu-applet ?

Should we have a default tag of launchmenu-applet which can be used to find specific applets? Or do we demand a specific naming convention?

If you mean tags for the applet declaration, then I would say no. Because every applet would have that tag, making it redundant (at that point it should be part of LM's core code). But I think overall it's not necessary there, since we already have the applet: search pattern. That's what the patterns exist for.
