For v1.3.x we had to make some adjustment to flow-handling and added some tests in order to support hash-free URLs for routing (for 1.x using AngularJS routing, see #367). For v2.x, we need to ensure that routing works as-is (by adding tests), and possibly adjust flow handling in a similar manner.

Also, for hash-based URLs we should be able to avoid #! and use plain # as with v1.x,see visionmedia/page.js#332 (comment) for details.
