Spooky Integrations

Spooky Integrations is a companion mod for Spooky Tweaks that expands the overhauling into other mods. The end result is a consistent game experience across the modded environment, using the style and balance provided in Spooky Tweaks.

Like in Spooky Tweaks, this mod adds no new save-altering content! You can add and remove it at any time without destroying your saves. Please remember to always make save backups when using mods.

Project Highlights

Universal Changes

  • Instruments are one handed, rare, worth 2000 pixels, and sold by Chip Tunes
  • Flashlights don't emit ambient fill light
  • Pickaxes don't use durability
  • Grappling hooks have consistent duration, speed, and rope physics
  • Respawn text reflects changes to pixel drop amount
  • EPPs use scientific names related to the condition they prevent
  • Crafting stations are always made at the inventors table
  • Teleporters are platforms, and can be recovered when broken
  • Moon related things follow the 'spooky' joke
  • Staves and wands take 0.6s to charge
  • Crop shipper variants always sell for 100% value
  • Vehicle controllers are one handed
  • Hoverbikes sell for 11,000 pixels
  • Flying vehicles sell for 30,000 pixels
  • Racial flags can be crafted once picked up
  • Ship lockers refrigerate items (80% slower rot)
  • Augments are crafted at the Research Station

Mod Specific

  • Avali are technologically superior
  • Expanded Magnorbs shields have no energy cost
  • All in one Erchius EPP can't be crafted due to being OP
  • No Ghost Augment is worth less to prevent money exploits
  • EE Transmutation tables support unused ore items
  • Lore overhaul for Woggles to better fit Starbound's universe

Racial Bonuses

  • Familiars glow like Novakids and have 20% bonus energy
  • Avali are immune to fall damage and extreme cold
  • Novali are immune to fall damage and extreme heat, and glow like Novakids
  • Woggles can survive in any environment without an EPP
  • Peglaci are immune to extreme cold
  • Draconis are immune to extreme heat and lava

Ship Replacements

Some races use the Basic Race Template by DrPvtSkittles, which creates an incompatible duplicate human ship. This mod will attempt to replace that duplicate ship with the vanilla human ship. The only downside to this is loss of custom pets.

This will only apply in full to NEW characters. Upgrading your ship will give a partial effect, but not the full features. May not allow you to craft ship parts from Better Ships.
