Like the title says, this would be a very useful function to have.

Furthermore, it should be called at the beginning of each complex recursive function:

KVT_Duplicate()
KVT_Merge()
KVT_Get()
[JSON/TOML]_Print()
[JSON/TOML]_ToString()
