We want to have stronger releases. One of the tools for testing releases is Chopsticks.

Idea

  • In CI in the release flow
  • Make a fork of either testnet or mainnet
  • Run the upgrade
  • Perhaps
    • Run e2e tests on the upgraded fork
    • Run some limited e2e tests on the upgraded fork

Spike Limits

  • Getting it running in CI might not be reasonable if it takes too long
  • Limit to 3 days and check-in
