Error: Can not connect to the streaming server Problem with Liquidsoap... #749
Comments
@Robbt I've followed this procedure from @hairmare (I don't know if this correct, but I thought to give it a try) Now I don't see this error anymore in the zendphp.log
I see that the replacement altered these lines:
But I still see these recurring errors in zendphp.log
And the streams control panel UI is still showing the same error message: And the listeners stats is also still empty: But that's probably related to this error, right?
|
pypo.log is now showing this:
|
I think I mixed up a few things.. it seems that solving this error:
Wasn't related to this procedure: #101 (comment) I've changed the settings back and the error still doesn't appear in the log. Probably this specific error has been resolved because I updated rabbitmq and erlang. But pypo.log is still showing:
And I still have the same errors at the streaming and listener stats pages (see my previously posted zendphp.log) |
Ok, now I see this error appearing again:
So the update didn't fix it. I'm going to try @hairmare 's solution again and see if it disappears. |
OK that didn't make any difference...the error still persists. Probably a coincidence that it didn't appear for some time. |
I finally found the cause of these problems, I was checking airtime.conf and I noticed that the base_port was set to 80 while the server's running on 443. I don't know why this value has been set back to port 80 during the install. I clearly installed Libretime on port 443. Has something changed in the install script? |
So the streams and the listener stats are back to normal after changing the port, the only remaining error is:
|
Hmm, the port 80 vs port 443 seems like an issue with re-running the installer. I don't actually recommend running the installer over over an existing install because of issues like this. 2019-02-28T09:55:05+00:00 WARN (4): SQLSTATE[55P03]: Lock not available: 7 ERROR: could not obtain lock on row in relation "cc_pref" Glad you were able to diagnose it after all of this effort. I'm going to also kind of mark this as a duplicate of #88 |
@Robbt what's the recommended upgrade procedure? I've been always using the installer;-) Shall I create a new ticket for this remaining issue?
|
We don't really have a well define best practice path for upgrading. I usually do it manually by copying the files from airtime_mvc after a git based upgrade. I wouldn't recommend other people do this though either. We should add a --upgrade flag to the install that tries to prevent any configuration modification etc. See #623 for further discussion. That error pops up quite regularly and we haven't figured the exact cause see #210 for a open discussion of it. |
We have experienced the very same issue, but it turned out not to be the wrong port, but rather the wrong hostname in We have recently set up 301 HTTP forwarding from an old to a new domain. But we forgot to update the |
Describe the bug
After an upgrade the stream page is displaying the following error at each stream.
Ps. I'm not sure if this related to: #101
During the upgrade I've encountered some database issues which were fixed in #746. It seemed that the database was out of sync against the current LibreTime version. We have been using an Airtime 2.5.2 database from our previous system.
Additionally I've applied the SQL upgrade scripts from the subfolders in /usr/share/airtime/php/airtime_mvc/application/controllers/upgrade_sql/ to the database to update it as much as possible.
LibreTime plays out normally except there is no control over the streams. (We're using three streams, 2x Shoutcast and 1x Icecast) Also the analytics panel isn't showing any data.
If I check the logs of a stream (in the example below the Shoutcast stream) it shows malformed connection data, also new log entries aren't created anymore :
The zendphp.log is showing various errors:
