the current priorities used by team mods:
alt by choice < red card from previous season < everyone else < alt in previous season
sorting within those groups by registration time.

low priority for red carded players is currently not implemented in the software but done manually instead.

edit: i hope this is not a duplicate, i feel like we already filed the issue somewhere, but i couldn't find it.
