Even if I install this structure in our own environment, it is directly accessible through the domain. Can a user login feature be added to keep it closed to the public?

But I want it to be open to the public, that's the idea!
But yes, you can implement login yourself using your reverse proxy and an auth provider of your choice, if you're self-hosting
