Why is there no organization to take over this project?

There is no doubt that this is a great project, why is there no organization or community, or Microsoft officially took over this project?

Uh... why?
Because most people have no dedication or just have no time.
If you think a project is great, but it is a pity that no one maintains it, you can fork and continue developing it. Instead of calling on others to realize your idea.

Is there any other open source alternative? It is better to not with GPL, as we could should do some code refactoring, lessons should be learned by this repo's issues and alternative's issues.

The truth is that, more and more use in HTML5 or Vue,js, the desktop virtualization is less popular, we need stick to the goal.

You have to invest either time or money in it (i. e. time = money). If you don't have the time to develop and maintain a library, either donate to a project or pay for something like DevExpress or SciChart.
