We need a CONTRIBUTING.md file that documents how to contribute to this project. This contributing guide should document how to add events as well as how to contribute features or bugfixes. The document should maintain our community's friendly, welcoming atmosphere, and we should target people who may be unfamiliar with Eleventy or with open-source contribution.

LOVE everything about the way you specified this.

Should we be on the hunt for someone that might be a good fit for this issue?

Maybe set a point in time when you or I should take it over?

At this point, I'm thinking either you or I might be the best people to take this on, @chantastic. Would you like me to put my face on it?
