How to use Canvas
Canvas is our main education platform and learning management system. Moreover, Canvas is primarily a UiO system which means that you need your UiO account before you can access it. If you're having issues with your UiO account, please contact us. Once you have your UiO account, you can access Canvas from this page.
Since Canvas is likely to be a new platform for most MCT students, we have made three quick tutorials on how to configure basic settings in Canvas.
However unfortunate, Canvas does default to Norwegian upon first load. This means you have to configure the language settings Canvas when first accessing it.

When using Canvas, it's important that you are notified when important changes or announcements are made. Therefore, it's vital that you configure the necessary notification settings at the very start of the MCT programme.

Another great feature in Canvas is its calendar. All MCT lectures, workshops, and seminars are automatically added to the Canvas calendar which makes it a great and necessary resource for us to use.
