If still possible, I request to implement at least simple support for configuration files.
By "simple and basic" I mean feature of possibility of read just a basic variables from text files like as numbers(integers, reals), strings and boolean(true/false). That it.
After enable this feathure, those files would be named as [modname].config and created in ".\minecraft\config" directory whith setting entries and default values if they did not exist.
There would be possibility of setting names of entries and their default values in way like as it is now of global variables.
And some procedure blocks that read those entries and its values.
I am sure many users need this feature.

I guess Goldorion planned to work on it some time ago (https://github.com/Goldorion/MCreator/tree/config).
I'm not sure (developers too, probably) about some feature's details (e. g. where and how this can be implemented).
