Visual Indicator for Submission Status Changes

When a user changes the status of a submission and there's a delay of some sort that makes the interaction not finish instantaneously, there's no visual indication that the application is actually busy in the background changing the status of the submission. It can appear like there's no activity taking place at all.

Add a visual indicator for changes of submission statuses.
