Massive potential overhaul

  • Modularity of version lists
  • API-based curse processing
  • Integrate with libgit2
  • Optifine
  • Configurability
  • Well defined format

I merged your comments into the original issue body.

Modularity: I really agree that the current code base isn't nice, but it should be mostly modular, as far as this hackery goes
libgit2: Not the right place IMO. This is for gathering and processing data, not storage.
Configurability: A bit more info? There already exists quite a bit, but there could ofc be more
Well defined format: This is way more than just one bullet point
