There are many acronyms bandied about. ISO, MPEG, AHG, WG, OT, MSOT, OFF, MOFF, WOFF, VOLT, FEA, FEE...

We need a glossary :)

Credit to @Lorp for the idea, who says

Glossary needed so as not to scare off observers who might become contributors.

+1. FWIW, the ISO document contains "Terms and definitions" clause where many abbreviated terms are defined, and we need to collect the remaining items ... e.g. I am not entirely sure what is meant by MOFF and who invented this one. Some TLAs may be well known (e.g. ISO), others names like MPEG have become household items without exact knowledge what the acronym stands for (Moving Pictures Experts Group, which was an accurate name back in mid-90s of last century, but their work is much more diverse these days). Good idea!

Thanks Vlad :)

However, this repo is currently intendes to be "issues only" and there is no license for files submitted via PR currently. I believe a license needs to be added before a PR like @Lorp made can be accepted... Thus #1
