• I guess there is some ISO/MPEG policy on who can have what level of access this repo; it would be good explain who has access to what, here. For example, Github allows a low amount of access to contributors who can help 'garden' the issue tracker applying tags, which any member of public with a Github account and no such access can not do.

• A "short description" of the repo should be set. Users with Admin level access can visit https://github.com/MPEGGroup/OpenFontFormat and at the top set it to something like,

Official MPEG repository to discuss issues on Open Font Format (ISO/IEC 14496-22)
