I just got a Virus TI2, and have been using it with your app, and LOVING it!

I also have a MPE controller (Continuum), and since the Virus in multitimbral, it should be able to deal with the MPE protocol, at least technically. The problem comes when you are editing patches, as however many copies of the desired patch for MPE play must be edited in turn, or reinstantiated, etc. Not sure exactly how bad the administrative overhead of trying to use the Virus as an MPE instrument is, currently, yet, as I'm just getting into it.

But, with your app controlling things, I'm wondering how feasible it would be to have the app do the heavy lifting of making all the patches in the multi conform to the state of a "master patch", and maybe even handle easy assignment of the CC messages used by the MPE protocol to destinations in all of the patches in the multi (IE, pressure CC to patch volume, y-axis CC to filter cutoff, etc.).

I saw some people on the Access forums talking about the possibility of using the Virus in an MPE setting, so I'd guess there's at least some interest. How much, I'm not sure, but it'd be a really cool feature for your app to have, in any case. And, it might draw in new users just based on the added functionality, as MPE-capable hardware synths (especially of this caliber) are not that common.

Anyhow, thanks for all of your work on this app!
