I just can't seem to replicate your issue, even on 10.10. Especially given that you removed all traces and then installed a fresh copy and still had the issue. This is very odd. Does your console turn up anything interesting when you attempt to save a file in MacDown? |
My guess is that another previously-installed application registered the markdown UTI on his system and is forcing the OS to map it to |

I'm getting no default at all, it want to save as "Untitled". I'd like .md to be the default ending, rather than none. |
The problem is that I’m having a hard time trying to replicate this. This only seems to happen to some machines, and I just can’t figure out why. 😞 |
