At tonight's meetup, we covered a number of ways that anyone can get involved with MaptimeCalgary. To recap, Membership is simple: just show up. For anything else:

• Communication
  • Join the GoogleGroup to communicate with MaptimeCalgary members.
  • Follow us on Twitter for the latest updates from MaptimeCalgary.
• Meetups
  • Join our Meetup.com group to hear about the upcomming meetups.
  • To suggest a topic for a presentation, create an Issue on Github with the label presentation topic suggestion
  • To vote on a topic for a presentation, comment "+1" on an Issue on Github
  • To volunteer yourself for a topic, create a new Issue or assign yourself to an existing Issue on Github
• Website
  • To suggest a change to the website (eg add a link to the Links page), create an Issue on Github with the label website and either enhancement or bug
  • To make a change to the website, create a Pull Request with the changes (how-to)
• Github
  • To join the MaptimeCalgary Github Organization, add yourself to the website's authors.yml file and create a Pull Request. Optional: Once approved, make your membership public
