A dataset should not be frozen upon submission. Extensions with new items and properties as well as corrections should be possible without having to create a new dataset. For the affected ranges, provenance must be updated accordingly. If a specific version of a dataset is to be cited, one can cite snapshots.

Raised by @florian-rabe during the MathDataHub seminar. We have already discussed this to some extent, we should document whatever we decide on.
