i have the problem that text based images are not displayed. the image only flickers.
the problem was already in the older version.

You are using cmder with hidden StatusBar.
First thing you should do - get latest ConEmu and run it with default settings.

I turn on the StatusBar and leave the cmder on default settings.
Same problem..

I don't see any critical from ConEmu side. They scrolling is disabled, buffer size is not too large.

But you are using ssh.exe. That could be your problem.
You may recheck and run ssh from bare cmd.exe (started from Win+R, stardard conhost window). But be sure you are running the same ssh.exe (check process paths) using the same environment variables and window sizes.

The rendering problems usually comes from these third-party applications, when you don't use the cygwin/msys connector.
