Mini Effects Compatibility #11
Comments
Maybe uping this will get some attention from the developer here, he didn't react to something that was posted 4 months ago, also want to watch this issue and see if it will be resolved. For now, I can survive without Just Enough Effects Descriptions. |
The mod supports stilish effects which does something very similar. You could use that in the mean time |
I will have to take a look at it, its hard to look for mods when they have a name that doesn't reflect what they do, I looked for potion effect hud remover but didn't see this one, but my best goal would be to not display any potion effects when I enter any of my inventory, chests or the likes (because of a problem with my eyes I play with a Large GUI which makes theses take way too much of my screen in 1080P which is the only resolution I'm able to work on a computer, anything higher and its way too small for me), I also have Inventory Hud+ that does display them for me at all time, although I wish they could be much much smaller, I can hide them when I don't want to see them on my main screen. |
This feature seems to be available only in version 1.19? I didn't find compatibility in version 1.18.2 |
I'm not supporting 1.18 anymore |
Okay, I see |
The more mods I see that can't support 1.18, the less I use them, common 1.18.2 is still the main modded environment now, most mods aren't out for 1.19 yet, most modpacks are still released for 1.16.5 or 1.18.2 and you stop support for them. I understand its hard work, but if you want your mods to be appreciated, you gotta support the current versions of most modpacks. |
I'm running into a related issue: when this mod is used alongside EffectsLeft to move the effects to the left side of the inventory, JEED still shows the effect tooltip when hovering over where the effect box would be in vanilla, instead of where it is. When this area overlaps the REI interface, you see two tooltips overlapping each other, one for the effect and one for the icon under the cursor, and neither is legible due to them overlapping. |
After using Mini Effects to display the status effect on the left side of the inventory,
The function of JustEnoughEffectDescriptions is still on the right
