Package/project name & description

Picker is an easy to use server side router for Meteor. This router respect others. So, you can use Iron Router and other routers and middlewares along side with this.

Current status of the project

  • Abandoned

Reasoning

It is especially useful when you want to establish server only routes while using things like react-router. It is used by many Meteor SSR related projects.
I have modernized it and I'm ready to help maintain it. https://github.com/StorytellerCZ/picker

Progress

  • Discussion finished (issue in Picker)
  • Moved / Forked
  • Team Created
  • Meteor Org Created and set as maintainer
  • communitypackages org added as a maintainer on Atmosphere

Since Arunoda is not reacting for 2 months or on any other of his Meteor related work I suggest that we move forward and I'll transfer my current form to the MCP org which we can then publish on Atmosphere. Not the best solution, but it will have to do.

Wasn't there a post in the forums where Arunode replied not that long ago? Maybe we can follow up there and ask him to transfer his package(s) to MCP?

I just pinged him in Twitter : https://twitter.com/VictorParpoil/status/1301053213660139520
It would be great to transfer it so we can keep the package name

For that matter if Arunoda was willing to transfer more packages that people have been requesting that would be awesome, but I'm working on the assumption that Arunoda is currently not interested in any activity around Meteor beyond some basic news.

Well I guess you should just move forward with transferring your repo to MCP !

Moved the repository and rebrand react-router-ssr team to just routers.
