Random gray screens needing cold reboot - affects both AGA and RTG modes - sometimes triggered by AGA<->RTG modes changes

Hi ! First I apologize for filing this very approximate report but maybe it'll drain some people in so that we can refine it afterwards.

Short form : I randomly get a gray or corrupt screen which needs a MiSTer complete reboot : sometimes as soon as the Minimig core is started, sometimes after exiting some screenmodes or after encoutering some gurus.

I haven't found yet a reproducible pattern. I use a RTG WB and start some AGA games. Sometimes, after exiting an AGA game (or after a guru caused by one), I get a competely corrupt RTG WB screen, usually mostly gray, with sometimes some coloured stripes, seems kinda random.

Rebooting the Minimig core doesn't restore the situation : I have to restart the whole MiSTer.
Does it ring a bell to anyone ?

It occurs under both WB 3.1 and 3.2.1, P96 v2, pretty clean installs. Occurs under several different MiSTers. Usually happens about once a day.

I would like to add the fact that, when it occurs, I also get a gray screen (or corrupt screen) in AGA modes. For instance, I do not even manage to get the Early Startup Menu which obviously is not RTG :)

So it affects both RTG and AGA modes and requires a cold reboot, but seems to be triggered by RTG to AGA modes changes (but I'm not sure).

For instance, this morning, I started the Minimig core (with a clean OS 3.2.1 + RTG install). I got a black screen during bootup (normal Amiga startup) then, at the time I was supposed to get the Workbench in RTG, I got a completely gray screen (with the filters / shadow mask applied).

Rebooting the Minimig didn't restore the situation - and, more interesting, when rebooting, I instantly get a gray screen - and not the black one then the gray one.

Okay, I have an hypothesis but will have to wait a couple more days / weeks to be 100% sure.
I removed my vadjust file (which I used to get a 4X scaling constantly which enabled also to apply shadow masks properly).
Since this removal, I haven't been able to reproduce the bug.
Time will tell !
Might be a kind of complicated random RTG <-> vadjust interference. Hmmm...
