Walter Payton Football doesn't boot, gets stuck on a red screen after boot.

This game still shows a flashing red screen after the Sega logo in the latest SMS build.

Thank you for those images, this allowed me to boot the game. Our only difference in settings was the SMS FM sound toggle - mine was Enabled and yours Disabled. Disabling the toggle allowed me to bypass the red screen immediately.

I confirm that with FM Sound Enabled, I have the same issue.

@KidpandaAG You can close this issue. To play this game, FM Sound should be disabled.
I tried in Mednafen, this game behaves the same way than MiSTer with FM Sound enabled.
