A lot of /sys/class/net/<interf>/* files missing

  In dotnet/corefx we try to read some interface statistics out from this folder like if an interface has network availability through file: /sys/class/net/<interf>/operstate or if the tx queue length to send and receive packets through that interface through file: /sys/class/net/<interf>/tx_queue_len -- there are a bunch of files folder missing for this interface's information. We can see the contents in a Linux VM vs WSL:
