Currently, the format of this data type depends on regional settings.
This is an identical issue as #570.

The DATE part should be always yyyy-MM-dd

  • MSSQL Extension Version: 1.4.0
  • VSCode Version: 1.26.1 x64
  • OS Version: Windows 10 x64

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. SELECT SYSDATETIMEOFFSET
  2. Go to regional settings and change the date format
  3. Open new VSCode instance run the command again.
