@TerryDiederich Thanks for your valuable feedback. We discuss the question of tooling frequently for this doc in particular, precisely for the reason you mentioned. However, data shows that the vast majority of our .NET Core customers still deploy from VS, so we are sticking with it for now. We revisit this topic regularly for the quickstart so it definitely may change in the future. Stay tuned.
