Does one storage account only able to host 1 static site?

Hi @randalvance - Thank you for your feedback! We will review and update as appropriate.

@randalvance It currently only supports one Static Website per storage account. Since within blob storage, when activating the option, there's a container named $Web that gets created. and this name is used in the back end for all operations.

Thanks for the response. I feel that it is a bit overkill to create one whole storage account just to host 1 static site.

Its a huge overkill specially when you have say 50 static websites, is there any development on this yet?
