Remove-MgGroup

SYNOPSIS

Delete group. When deleted, Microsoft 365 groups are moved to a temporary container and can be restored within 30 days. After that time, they're permanently deleted. This isn't applicable to Security groups and Distribution groups which are permanently deleted immediately. To learn more, see deletedItems.

DESCRIPTION

Delete group. When deleted, Microsoft 365 groups are moved to a temporary container and can be restored within 30 days. After that time, they're permanently deleted. EXAMPLES

Example 1: Remove a group

Remove-MgGroup -GroupId 'f6b9791b-dfc1-40d6-9ab6-7b29126c534a'

This example deletes the specified group.
