[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Microsoft strongly recommends that new code use MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation instead of DirectShow, when possible. Microsoft suggests that existing code that uses the legacy APIs be rewritten to use the new APIs if possible.]
The PreparePerformanceData
method sets the m_trLate and m_trFrame values of the current frame.
void PreparePerformanceData(
int trLate,
int trFrame
);
-
trLate
-
Value indicating how late the sample was beyond its due time, in reference time units.
-
trFrame
-
Interframe time, in reference time units.
This method does not return a value.
This member function sets m_trLate to the value of trLate and m_trFrame to the value of trFrame.
When the CBaseVideoRenderer::RecordFrameLateness member function is called from either CBaseVideoRenderer::OnRenderStart or CBaseVideoRenderer::OnDirectRender, it passes the values of m_trLate and m_trFrame for it to update the statistics. PreparePerformanceData
is called from CBaseVideoRenderer::OnWaitEnd to set these data member values.
