[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Microsoft strongly recommends that new code use MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation instead of DirectShow, when possible. Microsoft suggests that existing code that uses the legacy APIs be rewritten to use the new APIs if possible.]
The EndFlush
method ends a flush operation.
void EndFlush();
This method has no parameters.
This method does not return a value.
If the object is using a thread, this method waits for the COutputQueue::m_evFlushComplete event. The thread signals this event after it frees any pending samples. If the object is not using a thread, this method calls the COutputQueue::FreeSamples method. Then the EndFlush
method calls the IPin::EndFlush method on the input pin.
