Opacity Attribute (Fill)(VML)

This topic describes VML, a feature that is deprecated as of Windows Internet Explorer 9. Webpages and applications that rely on VML should be migrated to SVG or other widely supported standards.

Defines the transparency of a fill. Read/write. VgFraction.

Script Syntax

element .opacity="expression"

expression=element.opacity

Remarks

The default value is 1.0.

Example

The fill of the shape will be 50% transparent.
