WMDRMCryptoData structure

[The feature associated with this page, Windows Media Format 11 SDK, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by Source Reader and Sink Writer. Source Reader and Sink Writer have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Microsoft strongly recommends that new code use Source Reader and Sink Writer instead of Windows Media Format 11 SDK, when possible. Microsoft suggests that existing code that uses the legacy APIs be rewritten to use the new APIs if possible.]

The WMDRMCryptoData structure contains information about the cryptographic algorithm used to encrypt and decrypt content.

Syntax

typedef struct WMDRMCryptoData {
  DRM_CRYPTO_TYPE  cryptoType;
  unsigned __int64 qwCounterID;
  unsigned __int64 qwOffset;
} ;

Members

cryptoType

Member of the DRM_CRYPTO_TYPE enumeration specifying the type of cryptographic algorithm.

qwCounterID

The high 64 bits of the 128-bit AES counter mode. This member is only used if the cryptoType member is set to CRYPTO_TYPE_MCE.

qwOffset

The low 64 bits of the 128-bit AES counter mode. This member is only used if the cryptoType member is set to CRYPTO_TYPE_MCE.
