Steps to reproduce the problem

Open a config file for a node.js package (I noticed this error first when opening this browser-sync file)

Expected Result

  • Open the file with no issues

Actual Result

An error message pops up reading "Error processing linter settings. SyntaxError: Unexpected token e". I can click "ok" to keep working, but the message reappears if I switch tabs and come back.

Here's a screenshot:
image

  • Brackets Version: 1.14
  • Interactive Linter Version: 1.0.5
  • OS: Windows 10 1809
  • There were no related errors in the log, from what I could tell.

If it means I could work on this issue, sure, I'd be happy to give it a shot.

For sure! That's the idea :) If you'd like clone the repo and give it try. Let me know if you have questions I can help you with, and we can go from there.
