Trying to build a GUI that uses item amount as a counter. But that counter goes beyond 64 (but not above 127 though).
I've heard about a stacking rule being applied, which stops me from just giving an itemstack with an amount of more than 64. Is it possible to bypass it while I build the GUI without modifying the reference that every item interaction is based on ?
I just want the stack rule modified for that specific GUI / items.

How should I go about this ?
