What about using itunes file sharing to import kdbx database and then inmport it in private Keepass file system with NSFileProtectionComplete ?
That way it would not be accessible anymore from itunes.

All the files in the app's documents folder are scanned on launch, and the NSFileProtectionComplete attribute is set on any new files.
NSFileProtectionComplete doesn't completely prevent you from accessing these files from iTunes, but does protect the files when your device is locked and you have set a passcode/PIN to protect your device. Once your device is unlocked, the files are accessible in iTunes, and this is the intended behavior.
