Use escape key to close the OpenSpritz layer

Is it possible to implement the feature of closing the OpenSpritz layer by pressing the Escape key?

That would be an enormous help instead of having to click on the x every time!

If you can figure out a way to do this, happy to accept a pull request into dev. Spacebar to pause would be nice as well.

It seems I got something working here, but it only captures the Escape key, though. The Spacebar thing is a little bit more complicated, it needs some refactoring and I'm short of time right now. I'll send a pull request after cleaning the code.
