Scenario: while my laptop has a few et connections to a remote machine, it reboots. Is there a way to reconnect to those sessions, or kill them all at once?

What I do now is look through the process tree with htop and kill them manually.

If you use tmux control mode or HTM to multiplex a single connection into multiple shells, then you can use the "-x" switch to automatically kill the past session when you reconnect
