Launching Freeze beam on a player will give him frostbyte.
If said player is killed by ArsMagica spell or vanilla diamond sword while frostbyte is active, then frostbyte malus will remains while the effet itself is gone (slow motion, narrow FOV, etc.).
Giving the effect with command line won't fix it.
To recover, the affected player needs to be attacked again with Freeze to receive the Frostbyte again, and wait for it to cooldown.
It appears Blizzard also gives Frostbyte and cause same issue.
This is gamebreaking on a multiplayer server so we've disabled affected spells for now.
