The paper mentioned that “normalization maps entities and predicates in a KG to a generic vocabulary”. Does normalization just map an entity to an integer? If it is, how can normalization reduce the number of parameters compared with non-normalized ones? If it isn't, would you mind showing a example of reducing parameters?
