Another report (with video) by TheAmazingAladdin confirms this as a real issue. The video has been lost, but it showed an example how the error could happen from a fresh start of the program. However, this doesn't seem to be a deterministic issue, as I couldn't reproduce it with the exact same steps and effect, but only slight variations.
