The following are the new mobs being added as part of this release. This issue is created for the purpose of mentioning in release notes as part of the milestone; for new rig contributions continue to post to: #245

  • Warden mob by DigDanAnimates (twitter), split into three versions for backwards compatibility (see here for more info, use blender 3.0+ for best results)
  • Allay mob by zNightlord (twitter), QA pending
  • Frog mob by zNightlord (twitter), slight modifications made for backwards compatibility
  • Cat model by TRPHB Animation (YouTube), QA pending
  • Spyglass entity by Banana-Blu, QA checked.

QC here and edits finally done. Had to make a number of changes:

  • Made backward ports for the Warden and Cat and allay (via fbx reimported into blender 2.79 for very basic versions of the rig)
  • Had to fix scale on the cat & Warden, scale applied may have messed up some proportions of bone meshes, I did some quick fixing where most needed.
  • The warden will appear to have wrong materials if prep materials is used on it, hence this issue will be critical to be working before launch
