Sometimes, I copy a title or term and then try to search for it. Unfortunately, the long press on the Search input does not bring up Android's copy menu.

It's not a showstopper since I can go to GBoard's clipboard history and manually paste stuff to search but not everyone might use GBoard.


Observed on Glider 2.6.0 on Android 14

I'm pretty sure this is a bug in the SearchAnchor widget from the Flutter framework that's being used. I've seen some related recent activity on the Flutter master branch that gives me the impression this might get fixed in an upcoming Flutter version.

Double-tapping does appear to work though, so I suggest using that as a workaround for now.
