The "Bookmarks" and "History" page's can not be opened one after another #1692

[Affected Versions]:

  • Firefox Reality 1.4-32400715 (08.28.2019)

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Oculus Go - Android 7.1.2
  • Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1

[Prerequisites]:

  • Have the latest Firefox Reality 1.4-32400715 (08.28.2019) apk. installed.
  • The headset is turned on and the app is opened.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Click the "History" button from the menu tray.
  2. Click the "Bookmarks" button from the same tray.
  3. Observe the page opened in the browser.

[Expected results]:

  • The "Bookmarks" page is opened.

[Actual results]:

  • The "History" page remains opened and displayed.

[Notes]:

  • This issue is also reproducible if the "Bookmarks" page was the first one opened. The "History" page will not be opened when clicking the "History" button.
  • This issue is always reproducible on Oculus Quest device, and on Oculus Go only after exiting sleep mode.
  • Some of the pages functionalities are blocked after reproducing this issue.
  • The names of the pages are correctly displayed in the URL search bar even if the page is not changed.
  • This issue is not reproducible on HTC Vive Focus Plus device.

I have verified this issue and it's no longer reproducible with the latest 1.4-32420004 (RC1) build. The pages's are now correctly opened one after another.
Tested on Oculus Go, Oculus Quest and HTC Vive Focus Plus, devices.
