[Affected Versions]:

  • Firefox Reality version 6-32891835 (f856c03)

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1
  • HTC Vive Focus Plus - Android 7.1.2

[Prerequisites]:

  • The headset is turned on and the browser is opened.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open a 360 video and enter immersive mode.
  2. Click the trigger button from the controller.
  3. Hover over the volume button.
  4. Click and hold the trigger button on the volume level.
  5. Drag the volume level down and exit the volume bar's borders.
  6. Release the trigger button and observe the behavior.

[Expected results]:

  • The volume level remains in the same position.

[Actual results]:

  • The volume level jumps back to the top.

[Notes]:

  • This issue is also reproducible with the production version (v5) of Firefox Reality.

I have verified that this issue is no longer reproducible with the latest Firefox Reality version 9-40240151 (7e03c94) build.
Tested on Oculus Go (Android 7.1.2), Oculus Quest (Android 7.1.1), HTC Vive Focus Plus (Android 7.1.2) and HTC Vive Focus (Android 7.1.2).
